Liesbeth Defrancq
Director of Operations
Liesbeth Defrancq holds a law degree and a degree in journalism. She studied at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Erasmushogeschool in Brussels. She previously worked as a journalist and editor-in-chief for Het Laatste Nieuws.
Liesbeth chose to transition from the media sector to Itinera because she wants to contribute to creating, communicating, and implementing solutions to societal challenges. With her positively critical mindset, she aligns perfectly with Itinera’s vision: looking to the future with optimism without ignoring facts and figures.
As Director of Operations, she is the backbone of the team, ensuring the smooth coordination of communication, events, finance, and administration.
