About Itinera
Who we are
Itinera is an independent think tank and action group, founded on entrepreneurship
We bring together recognized experts from home and abroad, who investigate major social issues in a completely independent manner, and we act as a sparring partner for policymakers and agenda setters in the social and political debate.
Itinera operates without support from the government, interest groups, political parties or civil society organisations.
We are funded by individuals, families, foundations and companies who believe in our work and goals and thus strive together for positive impact, without influencing our agenda.
What we do
We translate in-depth research and critical analysis into concrete policy recommendations.
By working together with experts, entrepreneurs and policymakers, we build a bridge between knowledge and action.
We organize events that bring together relevant people with exceptional expertise, connecting Belgium within and with Europe, so that fresh insights emerge and new initiatives are born.
Our themes
Our country faces many challenges in many areas.
But one cannot worry about every little thing.
That is why Itinera is concentrating its efforts on three themes
on which Belgium, and by extension Europe, should focus
in order to reconnect with growth, prosperity and well-being.

Mission
Since Its foundation in 2006, Itinera's bold mission has been to reform the landscape of political decision-making and ensure sustainable prosperity for future generations.
Driven by a deep concern about the focus and effectiveness of Belgian and European policy, Itinera was created, challenging traditional policy-making and inspiring action.
Vision
Our ambition is to create a better future for our children and grandchildren. We offer solutions and exert influence in shaping and influencing decisions.
We strive for a sustainable, resilient society based on three pillars:
